As per thread title, I just thought it would be a good time to publicise what's on offer here if your just browsing out of curiosity. Many of the members here have spent their whole working life in the vehicle repair industry and have served apprenticeships, hold various higher qualifications related to the repair and maintenance of vehicles or are very skilled and knowledgeable enthusiast from long term ownership. If you think about it, there are many, many years of experience and knowledge available for free. Were all, what I would call, normal grounded blokes who like a good laugh and bit of adult banter whilst helping other stag owners. (I will add that some of us didn't fit in on other Stag resources) but the difference is we know what were talking about and not just weekend mechanic keyboard warriors. Like I said, if your just browsing, why not join and help make this forum the best Stag resource out there.  p.s. If you look at the "introduction thread" some of us have given a little bit of information about our backgrounds. |

I like that But if I recall correctly I'm only about 4 months younger than you. But as I said, I'll be happy to be your understudy. It would be good to see " Kyrten" again instead of the GDPR handle that came about from a very bitter, small minded and vindictive officer of another Stag owners resource. |

And hopefully when someone gives advice they are not shouted down by people who are Google mechanics on occasions giving out false information which is why many gave up imparting their knowledge. Nobody knows it all we are all still learning however skilled or experienced but what we do have is respect for others opinion.And generally together we can, if not solve hopefully point people in the right direction. If I want to join a club, I look at their online presence before deciding whether or not to go to a meeting and then make a decision to join. One skim through the SOC forum gives you a feeling that 50% are vile, treating the other 50% like shit. Not for me.
In the fullness of time, I shall have a stag. I won’t join the SOC, but I quite like it here- it’s relaxed and more than a few have issue with the SOC, so I’m walking with the angels.

why when staggard quotes a post does it appear as an extra post prior to his answer? makes it a ballsache to wade through BUT Grolley, I know nobody can please all the folk all the time but to say socforum public face is 50% vile is just bollocks I am afraid. You need to slide on over to the church of the triple Darkwob www.thedarkwob.co.uk/index.php Those chaps including me are all exiles from autoshite which has gone all woke and snowflake. The Lentil cave especially "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious." Definitely not for anyone who might rush to take offence |
