Hi everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm an ex SOC member (left of my own accord because it had become a fiefdom) Anyway a bit about me 11 years a stag owner and restored my own car, worked all my life in the motor trade and know my way around classic cars having served my apprenticeship in the mid to late 70's . Nice to see a new forum where, hopefully, we can help each other out and have a good laugh and some banter as well without the snowflake society who seem to be killing other established forums getting involved that seems to be spoiling this type of platform nowadays. Let the fun begin

Are you sure you are not selling something? One of the reasons I left the SOC, self taught experts with no formal training or qualifications giving people bad advice and promoting stuff they didn't need. Anyway I've moved on now and hope this will be a better resource to help other Stag owners without underlying agendas.

I am well known in Stag spheres, and universally reviled - spent a lot of my working life fixing Stags, starting off in a BL Dealer as a mechanic, later workshop foreman.
Hated by the heirarchy of the Stag Owner Club, especially those bellends Fuss and Peter Robinson, I spend my life defending the weak in the Los Angeles underground - if you need help, and if you can find me, you can call me GDPR

Have a very sweary youtube channel here of my exploits, nowt to offend snowflakes or the wokerati so long as they dont mind the odd bit of profanity www.youtube.com/channel/UCuPaTTqVo_Tw0_4ypXxY0lQ?view_as=subscriberInterested to see how this site might pan out with less interference from admin

Hello and welcome
My Name is Glenn. Ex RN Airframes and Engines, (WAFU). Have been with a Telecoms Company for over 30 years now. I brought my Stag in 2007 as a bare shell I had to find and fit it back together still enjoy driving her out and about. Not the most pretty stag but I don't really care. I am still thinking ( when funds allow to buy another so I can have a day stag. Think it would be great to park up in the middle of a shiny stag collection at a show.
Cheers Glenn

I don’t have a Stag. I used to twoc my Dads. He could never understand why the fuel consumption was so shit and it stank inside.
Looking to buy one at some point, but the Mrs wants a new kitchen and she can’t cook in a Stag. Well I can’t drive a kitchen and she can’t cook anyway (thanks Master Chef). I like wheeler dealers because I think Mike Brewer is a dasadrew and it’s about the only motoring thing the missus and I agree on.
Got thrown off FB Stag groups - proud of that. Been to an SOC meeting “somewhere” a mate took me whilst I was “under the weather” (tramadol & Stella otherwise known as stellacetamol). Thought some of the bods were right knobs - just as knobby but more stuck up than the MG Owners club (bobble hat and Waxoyl anyone?).
