HT from a merc at a cost of £25. Just fitted a brand new made in UK alloy rad at a cost of £330, new normal stag rads are £285 and mine is adapted to fit my HT plumbing and do away with that small pipe for the expansion bottle, all at no extra cost. I have a Weber, there I’ve said it, just managed to stop my engine leaking by fitting a catch tank with PCV. I don’t bother with car shows anymore, just got boring, met up with the southern Guys last year at Brands for a great day, they’re not a bad lot really!! you are utterly taken in by a bunch of old worn out old hasbeens see the light man ! the Weber carburetor needs to fitted by a man of substance who can make corrections and adjustments without fuss .at a guess you should have probably paid a skilled operative to install it .join facebook stag club lots of knowledge on there along with the soc forum you cant go wrong just learn to be humble and thankful for info freely given or get a pony |

All8: You can’t fit anything properly if it hasn’t been designed properly. If you take kit & car to a mechanic to fit it, you might as well get him to set the Strombergs up properly. What does the Webber deliver that the stroms don’t?
The guy that sells the Webber kit makes a ton of claims about testing, power & performance and when asked for the evidence or an explanation of his testing methodology all his chums close ranks and swear at you and get you kicked out of the club and off the forums. Is it unreasonable to be asked to substantiate the claims made about the product? When did you last buy a sofa without sitting on it? Or did you just buy it because the sales knob said it was very comfortable?

Don't waste your time mate, Its obviously one of the madmans deciples sent on a mission to try and piss people off. It's the same with all of the madmans so called inventions all stolen from someone else's ideas. OH except the gate latch to hold the hood up. The guy is an opportunist which selling to unsuspecting members in a car club that was supposed to benefit its members by helping them keep their cars on the road as economically as possible actually supported him in his endeavor to line his own pockets. I'm sure that the person holding the purse strings of this said club was on the list of benifiries.
