Whats the issues with HT's, what have I been missing/ingenuous. I've found one of them in my Stag's boot. Along with the normal amount of tools just in-case.

You obviously didn't read all the posts on SOC forum about header tanks over the years. Nothing wrong with them at all, quite the opposite, it was all the chat and theory and a member selling them without initially confessing to be a dealer. Probably/possibly the longest threads on the forum.

Yeah, lots of people got their knickers in a twist over them. Some paying out £150 for some polished tat while others went a more reasonable route of finding a suitable doner tank. It was fun times.

Think mine cost £25 plus some hoses. £40-50 all in. In fact Sukh gave me my first HT, a Volvo one which worked fine but was a little grubby. All8 will be along shortly to tell us to put it back to stock and we are all wrong!
