My list is a lot shorter but I tend to keep the car and swap the engines.
4 door toledo, 1300, 1500 then Rover V8 (Rolled it)
Dolomite 1850, Rover 3500 then Rover 3.9
2 door Toledo Rover 3.9 (rolled it end over end)
2 door Toledo mid engine Rover 3.9, eventually converted to mid engine 3,9 convertible
USA spec TR6
4 door Toledo
2.5 PI saloon bought for PI system for the TR6. saloon recieved a 2 litre engine then eventually a tuned 2.5 PI
Accident damaged Dolomite Sprint. The above 4 door Toledo ended up with Dolomite back end bodywork and I used it to reshell the Sprint
The TR6 used to donate its PI engine to the saloon during the Winter when the saloon only had the 2 litre engine fitted. One Spring I realised I had an engineless TR and a fully rebuilt Sprint engine so I fitted the Sprint engine to the TR6 for the summer. Just as quick as the PI engine but 40mpg!
TR250. I had to sell the fake sprint quick as I bought the TR on my credit card. I saw the Sprint for sale on Ebay last year and they were asking a lot of money!
The TR250 got the PI engine from the TR6 and the TR6 got the carb 250 engine when I sold it.
The TR250 then got a 165bhp Stag engine followed 10 years later by a 216bhp Stag engine followede another 10 years later by a 253 bhp Stag engine
2 door Toledo. This started with a 3.9 Rover for a few years
Dolomite Sprint with blown engine. This was scrapped and the running gear swapped into the 2 door Toledo
After a couple of years the 2 door Toledo got the first Stag engine I removed from the TR
2.5 PI estate. Came fitted with a knackered 2.5 carb motor removed the Stag engine from the Toledo to fit to the estate
Mk2 Stag
At this point the 2 door Toledo was fitted with its current Rover 3.5 twin plenum engine
2 door Toledo. This started with a radical injected 1300 engine but after the 3rd crank bearing failure got the rally cammed injected sprint engine that used to be fitted to the other 2 door toledo that currently has the Rover V8. This was sold when I got the mk1 Stag on the road as I don't need 6 Triumphs on the road at once!
Mk1 Stag

TR250, Stag engine 253bhp 2Door Toledo Rover 3.5V8 2.5 PI estate, Stag engine 185 bhp Mk2 Stag 180bhp Mk1 Stag 246bhp
